Ashley and Charlie's wedding at the Majestic Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin was one for the books! This wedding blended art-deco inspired elements of old Hollywood with the timelessness of the theatre to create a stunning 1920's-style affair. Joe and Jen Photography didn't miss a beat the whole night!
A note from Joe and Jen Photography:
Now residents of New York City, Ashley and Charlie decided to hold their wedding in their home state of Wisconsin, specifically Madison where the two met and fell in love. Old-world elegance was the inspiration for the day, which was executed perfectly in a subtle and authentic way. Classic venues including Mansion Hill Inn, a dressed-up Majestic Theatre, and of course the Capitol set the stage for the day. The December day gave way to an unusually warm and foggy weather, which led to stunningly soft and ethereal portraits. A vintage beaded gown was worn perfectly by the graceful bride, who was also adorned with a combination of family heirlooms and vintage-inspired pieces. The Majestic was expertly decorated with a muted color palette, with just enough glitz to add to the vintage drama. The couple's laid back attitude and overwhelming joy (along with the relaxed vibe of the Majestic) kept the day feeling effortless alongside the upscale styling.
